POSITION SUMMARY
The Enrollment Services Coordinator is a regional enrollment position responsible for the oversight of administrative aspects for the entire enrollment process. The Enrollment Services Coordinator ensures strong customer service satisfaction from parents and scholars and supports the Regional Enrollment Manager in working collaboratively with schools and community-based organizations to ensure the success and growth of scholar enrollment within the region.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Regional Enrollment Manager in overseeing and executing processing, copying, shipping, and archiving of all enrollment paperwork to ensure that no scholar paperwork is lost, all forms are completed correctly, and the scholar files are well organized.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, coordination and implementation of the parent orientation and enrollment processes. Conduct presentations at parent meetings and community events to promote BELL. Coordinate scheduling of FRS schedules and activities at sites.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while providing adequate and timely phone coverage for inbound enrollment inquiries.
• Maintain current working knowledge of all enrollment policies to adequately field incoming parent and other BELL stakeholder phone inquiries.
• Conduct outbound phone banking to families to support all stages of the enrollment process.
• Ensure that all enrollment data entry pre-site is properly entered and complete including data related to SES qualifications, parent invoicing or financial aid.
• Supervise seasonal staff including FRS and data clerks. Supplement data entry.
• Manage attendance award programs.
• Work with seasonal or external staff such as a Billing Manager or bookkeeping service to ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices and collection of monies.
• Work with the regional enrollment manager and Site Managers to maintain year-round data integrity by making appropriate updates to the scholar database.
• Ensure that all scholar attendance data is accurately entered and captured in the scholar database.
• Assist Regional Enrollment Manager in producing and distributing timely and accurate reports for regional enrollment department and Site Managers.
• Support the Regional Enrollment Manager and Site Managers in the implementation of the scholar and family attendance, recognition and other customer satisfaction, retention, and recruitment campaigns.
• Augment Site Staff as required during peak periods to assist in start-up or key projects.
• Work closely with the Regional Manager of Enrollment Services and Deputy or Regional Director to support site specific enrollment campaigns.
• Ensure that no scholar paperwork is lost, all forms are completed correctly, and the scholar files are well-organized.
• Ensure that scholar paperwork meets or exceeds requirements dictated by contract.
• Support Enrollment Manager in maintaining contacts with local community-based organizations, community leaders, and other representatives of the communities in which we serve.

Position Summary:

The Summer Program Assistant Manager works with the Summer Program Manager to build a strong summer program assists in the management of educational quality and implementing the program model in order to create the best learning environment for the scholars. The Assistant Manager plays a central role in program administration and must serve as a leader in this capacity.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Pre-Site)
- Participate in the summer program planning process prior to the start of the program
- Assist the recruiting department with marketing, interviews, and compiling all paperwork
- Assist the enrollment department with site enrollment plan development, enrollment, parent events, and assisting parents in filling in paperwork, follow-up phone calls
- Ensure that all curriculum and supplies are received and distributed prior to the program start
- Ensure that all licenses and contracts are completed prior to the start of the program
- Support scholar enrollment activities as needed including parent communications at the school, phone calls/outreach, parent events and helping parents with paperwork
- Assist with other planning deliverables as needed

(During Site)
- Manage teachers’ assistants; hold weekly staff meetings and ensure all program requirements are followed
- Implement pre- and post tests, all quizzes and support data collection for a 100% response rate
- Scan results into Edusoft and produce reports for program manager, principals, parents, teachers, and National
- Act as liaison to school management when Program Manager is unavailable.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports the 3rd and final weeks of the program
- Oversee the use of all materials and monitor all classrooms to ensure sufficient supplies/curriculum are maintained throughout the program
- Coordinate the food program
- Assist in implementing all field trips, guest speakers, and the community service project (attendance mandatory)
- Oversee petty cash and all administrative expenses once the program has started
- Support implementation of parent-teacher conferences as well as teacher/tutor appreciation
- Provide logistical support for the jingle competition and closing ceremony

- Ensure that all scholar and staff paperwork is received, completed and in order
- Prepare bi-weekly timesheets and payroll information and ensure that all employees are correctly paid; handle any payroll issues
- Collect and scan attendance sheets on a daily basis. Call absent parent daily and record outcomes.
- Collect weekly attendance, organize and give to Site Manager for enrollment audit purposes.
- Notify enrollment of scholar status changes and update parent records.
- Print Edusoft Answer Sheets for pre & post tests and quizzes. Assist in scanning all Edusoft materials
- Help execute local and national attendance programs.(letters, awards)
- Answer the phone and make phone calls to scholar families
- Ensure that enrollment dept receives weekly paperwork every Monday am.
- Oversee attendance reward programs, local and national, and work with Assistant to implement.
- Develop and oversee health and safety for the program
- Assist in the clean up of the school at the end of the program Support Management team in ensuring orderly scholar conduct during meals, transition times, arrival of and dismissal of scholars
- Assist with parent events and closing ceremony preparations
- Support staff as needed on all projects and administrative tasks

Michigan ACORN will be registering 196,000 voters during the 2008 election cycle, 61% of them will be young voters between the age of 18 and 29 years old. Our history suggests we will add 77,000 new voters to the electorate or over 1.5% of all projected voters in the presidential election in Michigan

The Michigan ACORN Young Urban Voter Collective’s plan for 2008 is to use the power of this voting block to move issue campaigns and to engage candidates on issues that affect young voters such as child care, jobs, and access to education.

We have a long history in community activism and organizing, but have a short-history of on-line communication. Much of the responsibility will be to create and develop online systems to enhance our campaign and electoral work

Experience Required
• Web development and strong project management skills are required
• Demonstrated ability to use technology in creative ways to accomplish social or political goals.

Responsibilities: Work with the organizing team to fulfill each day's urgent campaign needs, while developing tools and training materials to empower our leadership and membership

Experience Required: At least five to seven years' experience in fundraising; demonstrated expertise in major donor fundraising; additional experience in planned giving and volunteer management is desirable

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Under general supervision, the Social Worker provides advice and counsel to patients and families. Helps patients and families access assistance programs, including for insurance and meeting basic needs. Makes and tracks referrals for therapy and other services as appropriate. Provides guidance to medical personnel regarding the impact of psychosocial factors on the treatment and progress of patients. Assess and develops treatment plans for the client and or their family.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Provides a comprehensive intake assessment of each new client.
• Initiates and completes psychosocial assessments, interviewing patients, families and others as necessary to gain input for their treatment plan.
• Provides substance abuse counseling and refers clients to rehabilitation centers or treatment programs.
• Works directly in treatment relationship with patients, individually or in groups, in consultation with Psychiatrist.
• Refers patient or patient's family to other community resources.
• Maintain knowledge of principles, practices, techniques, and trends in family counseling.
• Collaborates with staff and volunteers as necessary to coordinate care, based on patient and family needs.
• Educates patients regarding state, federal and other assistance programs. Assists patients in applying.
• Acts as a patient advocate and communication link with other community resources. Provides case management for complex clients with multiple needs.
• Coordinates care with other community agencies, building strong referral relationships, based on the needs of the clients served.
• Keeps current case records in the patient’s chart. Prepares other records and reports as requested by the supervisor.
• Supervises social work student placements from local universities.
• Assists in the development of new services and programs.
• Represents the clinic to community groups and committees related to the uninsured.

Family Practice Physician

AIHFS is seeking a full time Primary Care and Family Practice Physician. This involves the delivery of family oriented medical care services as well as provides general professional guidance of primary care staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides clinical guidance for the Primary Care staff at AIHFS.
• Assesses and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and requests and/or performs/recommends diagnostic tests and examinations deemed necessary to obtain all possible information related to each case.
• Makes preliminary diagnosis, directs, prescribes or provides treatment or arranges for specialized care or patient referral as required.
• Ensures the provision of timely follow-up care and services as required.
• Provides primary health care services in a cost effective and efficient manner.
• Make notes of observations into clinical records. Provides emergency care as appropriate. Manages and oversees all medical, pediatric, and obstetrical/gynecological categories for cases that do not require referral. Provides total patient care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services to patients under his/her care.
• Adheres to industry standard of practice in the delivery of primary health care services.
• Through the process of evaluating the patient a treatment plan is developed that is appropriate with the patient’s current symptoms and clinical findings.
• Reviews the patient’s medications, diet, therapy course, adherence to management plan and patient observations.
• Instructs and counsels patients and their families on medical concerns.
• Refers patients to appropriate recognized medical or other government facilities as necessary, providing complete clinical information for care and diagnostic procedures that cannot be adequately provided onsite.
• Ensures preparation of appropriate medical records for all patients seen to ensure the accumulation and organization of all pertinent clinical data needed to provide comprehensive medical care.
• Prepares clinical reports and correspondence concerning patients under his/her care to physicians, hospitals, and other individuals and facilities.
• Collaborates with mid level health professionals to provide effective interdisciplinary health care services and assists in their professional development.
• Develops and carries out duties in accordance with AIHFS Clinical Policies and Procedures.
